You will own the backlog for our Bangladesh projects and decide what gets built. The test of this role is simple: an engineer in Vienna should be able to build from your specification without a follow-up call.
Streamline Technologies is an Austrian software company. From Vienna and Dhaka we build and run production software for European clients, and we develop our own products — Fastrecord, Lino, Keepiko and AskLunis. Our Dhaka team delivers our Bangladesh projects jointly with the engineers in Vienna: same codebase, same review standards, same decisions.
What you'll do
- Own the backlog for our Bangladesh projects and keep it ordered by value
- Turn stakeholder needs into user stories and acceptance criteria that stand on their own
- Work with client and ministry stakeholders to clarify requirements and hold scope
- Decide what goes into each release, and be able to say why
- Validate delivered work against the acceptance criteria before it reaches the client
- Keep the roadmap current and visible to both teams
What you bring
- 3+ years as Product Owner or Business Analyst on a live software product
- Proven ability to write specifications and acceptance criteria in clear English
- Experience running stakeholder workshops and resolving conflicting requirements
- The habit of asking what problem is being solved before accepting a feature request
- Willingness to say no, with a reason
Also useful: domain knowledge in public sector, banking, fintech or health; exposure to GDPR or equivalent data-protection requirements; Jira and Confluence.
